this lad who i know, was tellin me the other day, that why im having my clutch changed that i should have an aluminium fly wheel fitted because it will spin up quicker and will cool down quicker, is he talking bull or is there such a thing, and if there is, were do i get 1, and how much am i looking.

Sounds like your friend is thinking of a lightened flywheel. They don't really make too much impact on an S3 to be honest. What you will find though, is that the make a lot of chatter when the car is sat in neutral.
