Brake Pads for S4 - What are OE like?

I currently have drilled and grooved discs (supplied by Audi), braided lines and running EBC Red Stuff. I have always found Ferodo DS2500s to be excellent in the past and would rate the red stuff as good as those. I now need new pads fairly soon, and a mate works for Listers so can get the Audi ones at cost - waiting on price but guess £40/£50 for fronts. I will be looking at £100+ for Red Stuff or DS2500s. What are the standard pads like? Any fade with regular hard braking? Any good braking from very high speeds?
Thanks

Can't comment on how they perform on the track, but they make a lot more dust than the Yellow-stuff ones I replaced them with

How did you find their performance on the road?

I thought the Yellow Stuff pads were good, seemed to stop a bit quicker than OE but they didn't snatch so you could be subtle about scrubbing off speed without putting the other half's face into the dash
edited to avoid ambiguity

Very very dusty. I also now use EBC yellow stuff's and they're great for daily play. Can't comment on track use.
I was recommend not to use red stuffs due to the weight and power of the car.
