Just a random question really as I dont (yet) have an S4 but does the RS4 rear diffuser fit the standard S4 rear bumper?
Interesting option to allow big oval exhausts or larger quads!!

In a word, no.
The valance around the exhausts is actually part of the bumper.
The RS4 is also a different shape so it probably wouldn't fit anyway.
Some people in the US have vinyl-wrapped the valance in carbon fibre trim. That looks quite good but it would look better with those aerodynamic lumps, like a proper diffuser.

Not sure which model you are considering getting but the rear valance on the cab IS removable. I've got a B7 valance carbon wrapped ready to go on my B6 cab when I have the funds for a custom exhaust with as you mentioned big oval or quad pipes. I wanted the RS one too but was told it was incompatible!

I was looking at wrapping the reardiffuser on my B6 S4 Avant but was put of by the stories that it wouldn't be detachable.
Any picture/ info on getting the diffuser out?!
Is the wrapping doable? I am afraid that it won't be smooth?? How difficult is it?!

I cannot comment on the avant or saloon but I have changed the diffuser on my B6 cab to one from a B7 cab.
Undo two torx screws holding diffuser onto car. It may then be removable by pulling it backwards, however I removed the whole bumper so that I could see what was happening to prevent potential bumper damage!
I had someone carbon wrap the new one so I cannot comment on how easy it was but it did look good....however I removed it before fitment to the car
Tho IMHO the B6 one may be harder to wrap than the B7 as the profiles look more complex!
New one fitted back on easy enough but had to drill two new holes for the torx screws to attach the underside to the car.
Again I do not know how appropriate any of this is to any model other than the cab!!
