Anyone ever had to replace the sensor (G135) Mines failed and the vents aren't opening so it's gotta be swapped over.
How much blood and knuckle skin was lost?

Never replaced that sensor but last year the demister flap was not working. After removing the side panel it turned out to be a loose wire connection and the lack of lubrication on the linkages. Anyhow IIRC all sensors and linkages for the flaps and vents are on the side of the fan unit and easily accessible.
Hope this helps

Cheers mate. I've lined it up as my Saturday morning job.
Sods law, this morning was the first heavy frost and no demister

The same sod hit me last year as I was leaving work......I forgot to mention that the linkage had also got its knickers in a twist. I gave it a good blast of WD40.

Tested and still faulty, scanned and got the code, cleared, still faulty.
Took glovebox out and tried to activate and still nothing. Ran basic settings and it's ok again.
Can only have been something stuck in the mechanism I suppose. Blasted with Teflon dry lube and out back together. Would like to know what I was but fixing it for free makes up for that.
