Sad as it is I have ordered a new S4 emblem. Has anyone got tips on removal of old one and fitting new?

Not sad at all - I got the dealer to swap the badge on mine for a new one as part of the final prep. I knew the flaking red portion would annoy me every single time I got into the car. I believe the old one levers out and the new one just drops in.

Thanks. I am scared about marking the wheel. Will have to be careful.

Well it arrived and went in like a dream. Happy now.

The eBay seller was great.

You did well, my tight fisted Audi dealer wouldnt dream of swapping my RS one out when I bought the car.

On the RS4 FBSW the 'RS' emblem comes are part of the bottom alu' trim (the flat bottom of the wheel). I know of someone who replaced the whole bottom trim because likewise they couldn't live with it being scratched, part was about £100 from memory.
