V8 badges

Why do some S4s have discrete V8 badges near the side indicators and others, like mine, don't?! Any idea where these can be acquired?

I think they came OE on B7's? You can get genuine ones on eBay for £30 a pair, not sure about stealers price.

They are slightly tacky but it would be nice if it stopped Rover 25s trying to race us at the lights.

I didn't know they weren't meant to be on my model (B6) so I guess the previous owner fitted them.
I like it tho... mind you, there is no doubt with the noise that its a V8!

They were a later addition to the B7, my early B7 doesn't have them. If it did they wouldn't stay on for long...
