TTS Roadsport in Bedford, fitted a B7 (quad tailpipe) resonated Milltek including Milltek cats to my B6 S4 cabriolet today. Firstly the quality of service and advice was superb. And then came the drive home......very subtle burble at motorway speed and under gently acceleration, but put your foot down hard and the beast is is released. :) Well worth the money, it completely transforms the car. TTS Roadsport took great care to set the system up correctly, no rattles and perfectly aligned.

Did you need a new rear valance to fit the quad pipes?

Yes but it was only about £80 from a main dealer, I probably could have got it even cheaper elsewhere. The guys at TTS Roadsport removed and fitted the new valance very quickly, it looks like it has always been on there and transforms the look of the back end particularly with the quad millys in place.
Hope this helps

The valance was the OEM S4 B7 one?

I've been thinking about quad pipes - I don't like the fact that some Audis with small engines have twin pipes. Plus, most new cars with large engines seem to get quad pipes as a signifier these days and I like it.

How much was that system? I'm thinking about just a cat-back which, I believe, is £300-400.

Yes the valance was A B7 S4 cabriolet OEM,(the cabriolet versions are very different to the saloon versions) that's why it fits so well. I already had the cats in storage, but got the cat back B7 Milltek on Piston Heads, they do come up every now and again, B6 versions come up more frequently, but like you I wanted the back end to look that bit different to the S-lines that seem to be everywhere now.
The new system might even encourage me to drop the roof more often this summer and go searching out those tunnels.

Cool.

Any idea if the B7 valances fit the B6 saloon/Avants? I have an Avant.

Not sure about the saloon/ estate. Worth checking with a dealer.

Great to meet you, you are one of the luckiest men on the planet, your RS6 has to be one of the best if not the best RS6 C5 on the planet. Dave and his team of experts at the TT Shop put so much time and effort into that car I still can not believe that Dave sold it.
The sound of your car leaving the workshop was fantastic and epitomises the statement "speak sotftly but carry a very big stick". Have a safe trip down to France and I hope to catch up with you in the near future.
Giles.

P.S. With the full milltek You really notice the difference in performance with the S4, not in the same league as an RS6 and certainly not in a million miles of yours, but loads of fun anyway. I will put up some pictures in the next week or so.

Another big thank you to the team at the TT Shop / TT Roadsport Bedford.

Nope, cabby only, others need the bumper cutting which looks horrible

You could transplant the exhaust cut outs onto your valance though, but it's alot of agro just for twin pipes
