Misfire HELP Please!

Post by R33 » Sat Mar 19, 2011 12:25 pm

Help me please! I just parked my car on my very steep drive (front downwards) and left the engine running for about 2 mins when it developed a misfire. I reversed it back onto the flat but now it keeps misfiring. The fault code says Cyl 3 Misfire and Random Misfires. Please tell me that this is only a coilpack and that the back of the engine wasn't running without oil, or the front with too much and that I haven't seriously damaged my engine?

Also is someone could point me towards any guides for self colipack replacement on the airbox side that would be great.

Fixed it, bad coil pack on cyl 3. Those left bank rear coil packs are great fun to get to!

Glad I put off getting it booked into Audi for warrenty replacement! :audibash:
