Spark plug gap help.

Hi,

I'm changing the plugs in my '03 B6 S4 in the next week as I can find no record of them being changed in the service history (long life) and now on 64k

I've tried a search but can't find anything regarding spark plug gaps.

Is there a specific recommended gap for the plugs? NGK platinum plugs :-)

Thanks.

I think modern cars/plugs don't have that issue any more and can be left as is.

I'm open to being corrected.

Pre-gapped mate.

It's worth getting the proper long plug socket with the magnet as well. Only £15 from GSF and will cut down the risk of x-treading them, which on mine felt very possible indeed

Thanks,

The NGK site says that they are pre-gapped too which is what I presumed.

Well, that's running a lot smoother and thanks to an oil change the start up rattle of the cam chain is much better. Still audible but only for a brief second on starting.

Audi long life service shcedule =
