Flighty front end

Driving home today and the front end felt decidedly un-planted. Not a pleasant feeling. Can't quite put my finger on it, the best way I can describe it is that it felt like I had a flat (which isn't the case). Sort of like that, crossed with lumpy, ever-so-slightly (to the point of being imperceptible) stuttering power delivery. Also felt the same at low speeds. No warning lights. Maybe I've been over too many potholes and everything's been thrown off kilter... would that do it? Any suggestions or ideas welcome.

All on the same day that I discovered camshaft and rocker cover leaks (been slowly weeping for ages but haven't pinpointed it until now).

One thing after another with this car... :(

Was probably too vague a description on my part to elicit an educated guess... I'll get it looked at sooner rather than later methinks

I had this and it turned out to be (and I forget precisely) either a slightly loose steering rack or front subframe.

Sorry it was a long time ago.
