LED Sidelights?

Hi Chaps,
I'm not keen on the orangely glow of the std sidelights next to the nice whiteness of my xenons, so am concidering swapping them out for white LEDs.. i previously used ultraleds.co.uk on my R32, but i'm not sure of the size, style, wattage of the B7 S4 bulbs.
Can anyone advise?
Cheers,
Goose

I've got a B6 with single Xenons but I would assume the sidelights are the same. Can anyone confirm?
See my post on the subject

I've changed mine for LED's although the ones I bought from eBay are great when they are on but they often come on and then go off again so I've got to get proper ones from ultra led's.
I wouldn't say they are easy to fit and only do it when the engine is cold. They are a pain to get in and out but it's worth it, even though I have to re-do mine.

Cheers Mystik J, so I'm looking for a H6W fitment like these???
http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/latest-bax9- ... -2289.html
or these:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XENON-5-LED-H6W-4 ... 335b8d06a6
the latter are the same as my Mk4 R32 ones i think.. i had them on the car for 3 years without probs!

That's right.
I just checked the link on the other post and the product page has gone - but those first ones you posted look exactly the same as mine (but better, according to the spec).
The only thing to check is if B6 and B7 are the same.
According to the model selection tools on some bulb websites, my model takes D2S HIDs and 501 sides but it actually takes D1S and H6W.

I have the older versions from ultraleds, and I've found them really good. I've had to send 2 back (one due to me being kak-handed and breaking it while fitting and the other just started raising a bulb-out warning after 6 months or so), and ultraleds had no problems replacing the bulbs for free.
They look loads better with the xenons than the OEM sidelights in my opinion.

I have a B7 and I swear they are not the same as the B6, I'll try to have a look tonight and let you know.
I had a brake light bulb blow on me and I found some instructions online for a B6(I think) but my light was not the same. First off the screw to undo the cluster was not a screw but a nut (as in nut and bolt not testicle) shaped hole so I had to make a custom tool to undo it. Then the garage told me the brake bulb was 1 of 2 two filament bulbs so I bought both but the bulb was actually a single filament! My point is I think there are more differences between the B6 and B7 that people might think.

Ah... check this thread
here on TSN - it may be a different type of bulb, as mentioned by R33...

Yes good work, those 501's look right, but I will check mine to be sure. If that's correct then I might have to buy those resistors.
