Effing DIS Warnings!

Post by cobraBLACK » Sat Oct 30, 2010 10:57 pm

Is there any way to cancel DIS warnings such as low fuel or low washer fluid?

I tried turning the DIS off but it stays on there.

The intermittent beeps are annoying enough but the animation of the washer fluid one is quite distracting.

Never noticed anything in the manual.

Well, I don't know when it needs topping up; that's the point of the warning...

...but I only need telling once, not constantly while I'm driving.

I think you can use the cancel button on the right stalk to cancel the audible alarm but do not think it will also cancel the display.

A 5 minute weekly check over will ensure these details are sorted out and prevent the nanny state intruding.
