New S4 owner with a qustion please

Post by goose » Thu Sep 09, 2010 2:58 pm

Hi all - I picked up my '06 Black B7 S4 at the weekend and am v.pleased so far... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1722801.htm

(I mananged to get a pretty good part-ex for my tuned Mk4 R32 Golf!)

However I cannot seem to clear the yellow warning light that is a picture of a wheel with a line through it???

I've looked in the Owners Manual and cannot see it.. I know it's not the run-flat light, and I've checked all the tyre pressures are correct.. can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance,

goose

tyre pressure monitor warning light. usually its the sensor that has gone. Oddly can be effected by differnt tyres

OK, ive re-checked the owners manual and found the warning light on page 47.. it's a tyre pressure monitoring system system fault light!

hopefully is just that someone changed a wheel without activating the "wheel change" function first. will try a re-set at the weekend and if its not that i guess it could be a faulty wheel sensor, or someone fitted a tyre without a sensor!

thanks for the answers guys
