Brake indicator

Hey folks.

Just a quick question.

When I turn my car on for the first time the handbrake highlights on the centre dash.

The pads are in good condition so I was curious to want this could mean. Car is a Oct 2004.

Could be a number of things from low brake fluid to something expensive, best to scan for fault codes first off
