Hi guys
I have been reading many posts on the best exhausts available for a B6 (just bought an 04 Cab) and was going down the custom route after reading some good reviews about AAS in Newcastle but received an email from them today saying they can only do cat-back now due to change in regulations. At £800, I'm asking myself whether it's not worth sticking a Milltek or APR cat-back at that price (£2k is too much for me to spend on a full system). What are your views?
Was looking at MIJ before but they are too far for me and I'm now thinking a Milltek or APR might be better for resale value than a custom item.
Anything else available in the UK other than APR/Milltek?
Thanks for your help.
Exhausts- custom no longer an option
RE: Exhausts- custom no longer an option
HI,
I have just got my S4 back from garage today with new cat back Milltek fitted and it sounds AWESOME. Go for the Milltek, you won't regret it. I bought the cat back system for £642.00 delivered from JDMotorsport in Essex.
I am so so happy. Thanks to all you guys for the previous advice.

I think AAS have stopped doing sport cats because the regulations state they must be certified. A cat back wil make your V8 louder but will not give any bhp gains.a6khu wrote:Hi guys

You're right there blingbling. Cats/downpipes from Milltek & APR are £1k over, so might get cat-back for now and cats later.
