I'm trying to help a friend choose an exhaust to help bring out the sound of his V8. The OEM note is a bit too docile, but the last thing he wants is a headache from a booming exhaust on a long drive.
He's not keen on the sound of the Milteks. I'm liking the BN pipes, which i've heard good things about. Nice burbling without being too intrusive.

What other options are there for off the shelf stuff?
Cheers!

RE: Which exhaust for sound?
I have the non-res millteks (including cats) which, in my opinion sound better than the ones on the link. Everyone comments wherever I go ("What the hell is in that thing?" is a popular one) The sound is awesome - if a little expensive to obtain this.
The AWE system sounds nice - although better at tickover the millteks sound better within the range:

Whichever route you take - the sound will greatly improve and have the V8 sounding as it should.
All the above is personal opinion - I need to get some videos of the noise to share....
