Battery

Anyone had to change their battery?
Mines died today. Have you gone and got one from audi or somewhere else?

DON'T go to Halfords as their fitment doesnot fit. I went there first and after over an hour of struggling to get the new one to sit properly (they are very heavy and in an awkward location) I decided to pull it out and when it was sat next to the original one it was obvious the fitment was wrong. Took it back. As Audi were quoting 4 days to get one I phoned around and ATS Euromaster had one in stock. I took the original to compare sizes! It fitted perfectly tho the only problem was the breather pipe in the wrong side so I just pray is doesnot leak. It cost £110 about 6 month ago. Hope this helps.

Might try and pop into a GSF today and see what they have. Got to go and measure the battery now to be on the safe side.

Got one from GSF, Bosch s4 for £94 inc vat.
