Hi,

I need to change the wiper blades on my S4 and cannot see how they come off, can anyone shed any light on how they come off.

Thanks

Pete

Pull the end of the wiper arm, it looks like a 2 inch long trim piece, keep pulling it as if you are extending the wiper arm, it's very tight but will unhook in the end. It's slides away to allow the wiper head to be pulled out of it notch

^ What he said!

But when I did it, on the first one I had to pull so hard that the plastic piece broke a bit and came off, so be careful.

Out of interest, are you replacing with OEM blades, or some other make? I'm just curious whether there are any decent after market blades for this car.

On my old car I picked up a set of aeros from wiperblades.co.uk for about £13, and these were the best wipers I've ever owned. No juddering or squeaking, even when the screen was dry. Unfortunately they don't do these blades for our cars.

You get new caps / retainers with the new audi wipers.

If you need part numbers I still have the bag at home.

Cheers Guys,

Advice most welcome, checked some prices and Halfrauds want £48 for a pair of Bosch aero wipers and the dealer wants £39. worth checking the dealer as sometimes they are (strangley) actually cheaper.

Looks like a job for the weekend if it will only stop raining...
