Retrofit Armrest Phone Prep

Hi all,

I've seen an armrest for sale for a good price, but it has the phone prep cradle built in, and at the moment (as far as I know) I have no phone prep in my car.

There is a cable from the armrest for the phone prep, so I'm wondering if it's an easy job of just plugging this cable in to a loom under my centre console, beneath the rear ashtray somewhere, or whether you think my car wont have the correct loom there?

I've had a quick look in the area under the console near my handbrake, and I can see some wires hidden near the rear of the handbrake, but I can't see any obvious plugs to connect the armrest in to.

Anyone had any experience of retrofitting this part?
