Stasis Coilovers

Post by xyber » Thu Jul 09, 2009 8:31 pm

Anyone know of any dealers in the UK for Stasis coilovers?

Im looking for a slight lowering and sharpened handling, but keeping things comfy. which from what ive read the stasis set-up does very well.

Failing that, KW V3s I was thinking, does anyone have them?

I have KW v3. I am very happy with them. At the beginning I wanted to buy Bilstein like I had on my other cars but I could not find them at good price. So I eventually went for the KW v3: I do not regret. You can finely tune them like you want from "efficient but comfy" (actually less bouncy than that stock while still comfortable) to "hard".
The only drawback I can see is that once set up, not all adjustments are easy to get access too

Cool, I am slightly swayed towards the KWs as I think import taxes could sting abit with the stasis gear if I cant find a UK dealer

Adjustment wise I have a VAG specialist technician mate that has just gone out on his own that is pretty patient with us when it comes to getting stuff set up just right and I have access to a 2 post ramp at my dads work if needed so once they were set I wouldnt touch them again

So they are still a nice comfy ride, even when lowered slightly are they? Im looking forward to it after my current car that is very firm and loud. Sign of getting old I think haha

Anyone got Bilstein?
