Looking at buying an S4 saloon

Hi peeps, new to the forum and looking for some advice...

I am in the market for an S4 B6, my budget is about 13500 for the car, and I have enough for an LPG conversion as well. it will be my daily driver for business so the LPG option makes a lot of sense to me.

so questions, what are the key problems I need to look out for when viewing a potential car? and does anyone have an idea of rough servicing fee's? I will be keeping the car for about 4 years (or so I plan) so I want to know what I am getting into first. I will be avoiding main dealer prices, so a good specialist indies near Milton Keynes would be highly welcome...

penny for your thoughts please?

When i first bought mine i thought and still do think the suspension on the B6 s is a bit stiff got 2 replacement arms and it was a bit softer. I will sell mine for less than your budget 2004 nogaro blue auto/tip full black leather 57000 miles and still under Audi approved warranty PM me for pics

not sure if this is PC, but £13.5k is too much imo - having sold my S4 saloon for less (2004, 30k)

you'll get a better deal off a forum member, some dealers are still asking for silly money on these

I paid £11,250 cash for it, its lovely, and just had it converted to LPG but they put the wrong sized tank in, so it goes back tomorrow for a different one...

full service, hpi clear, immaculate inside and out, little higher mileage than I wanted but all other boxes were ticked so it would be ruded not to at that price!

there was a guy on here from belfast who was selling the same one, similar price, lower miles, looked lovely but I couldnt get out there so had to let it go. I would recommend checking it out, PM euga6 on this thread, its his...
