Does anyone have any data on how many of which colours were sold by Audi UK? I am looking for Imola yellow as my first choice and Ebony black as my second, must be manual and I would prefer full black leather.
Any help much appreciated.

Come on you guys this should be bread and butter stuff for you 'Stato' types.
Help me out, I'm trying to find an imola yellow S4 manual.
But some figures would help to see if I'm pi**ing in the wind!

Thanks chaps, but was really lookin for production figures. Perhaps someone knows that has not seen the post yet?
Been to look at the one for sale on P'heads. Its in need of a lot of money spending on it and the guy wont play ball with the price which is a real shame. I think he is gonna end up with it well an truly wedged up his a*se!

I'm assuming this is the one?
What needs doing to it? Surely if you have a car for sale then you would make sure the next owner has a good 12 Months of trouble free motoring (as far as you know.)
Is this the reason for the sale maybe? The seller knows he has to 'dig deep' to keep the car on the road.
Unsure if the blue interior and yellow exterior compliments.

That colour combo is foul in my opinion. At least when i had my imola s3 it had the yellow inserts

Yes that is the car.
The guy has had a change of circumstances, he had a lodger who has moved out so therefore a reduction in income.
When I went to look at it it only had a thimble full of petrol in it, and it wasnt like I was there to take it away and he had run it low so I had to fill it myself. This car is the guys daily runner.
Keep in mind that when I got there it was pretty much already dark, so didnt have a proper look at the paint work.
It needs 2 tyres (about £150 each?), all wheels need a refurb (about £50 to £70 each), rear parking sensors need sorting (just goes bee as soon as you put it into reverse), at least 1 aux radiator needs replacing (rads are £146 each and fitting is £420 from audi), Both down pipes need sorting as there is a blow (he says he already has the pipes) just to have them fitted is £500 from audi the pipes themselves are about £1300 so I'm told. The paintwork that needs doing will needs doing will come close to £1000 if it is to be done properly.
So as you can see there is a lot to be done.

Grum71, yes you would think that it should be sorted and ready to go but as you say I dont think he wants to or can afford to spend the money and has put it up for sale to make the problems go away.
I was quite prepared to sort everything myself as the car is in the colour that I want with the spec I want. Although I cant understand why you would not have ordered it with full black leather to go with the Imola yellow paintwork. Yellow and blue/black mmmmmm not sure about that! But anyway I would have gone with it as the alcantara inserts make more sense in the real world (no sweaty bum and no sliding about) Although to look at the full black leather would have been much better.
Another thing that made me really angry was that the car originaly had satnav in the centre console and he was very proud to tell me that he SOLD IT! Why would you down grade the original spec of your car?! The answer is I think for the money. Thats not a good sign is it!

What makes someone wake up one morning and think "I know, let's sell the cars desirable feature and install a CD player - to compliment the 6 disc changer already in the glovebox" - He clearly cannot afford to run an S4.
Reminds me of when I was 21 and wanted a Sierra Cosworth. I could afford the car - but not the insurance.
I could've bought one - then sold/replaced the wheels, engine and interior, painted the thing yellow (badly) and put on Pistonheads....
...now there's a plan

As the owner of the said car, Lets get a few things straight. I don't take kindly to being slagged off with out the facts being straight!
Firstly the fuel: I had rushed home to meet you before I was due to go out. I didn't want you to be arriving at my home waiting for me so didn't have a chance to fill the car up. as it happens you arrived later anyway...that's fine as you had traffic.. There was plenty for a drive with 30miles in the tank!! You never filled the car up, you drove it round the block, complaining about the state of the roads.
Secondly the Sat Nav: As standard the car came with the BNS 4.0 sat nav with the CD-ROM drive in the boot with the display in the DIS. I retro fitted an RNS-E DVD-rom unit in the Car in March getting all the cables from Germany for a proper job! I also bought a brand new 6 CD changer for the glovebox to compliment the RNS-E.... Yes I sold the unit, BUT it was not factory standard!
The Exhaust: I only found that it was blowing a couple of weeks before you saw it. I bought the downpipes ready to be fitted (I could have been dishonest and let you find out yourself as it was hard to hear) As I explained to you I was up to my neck in Professional exams and hadn't had the time to fit them, but with every intention of doing so.
Tyres: They had a few mill left on them and were good for a few months still ! Front tyres were brand new.
The car is Genuine and wasn't willing to accept the rediculous offer of 2.5k below the asking price. even after I had knocked a grand off.
As I said on the phone to you I wish you well with the car you decide to buy. I am being civil to you, I don't expect to be discraced on a public forum due to you not getting your way.
Regards.

If you want to talk about quoting facts, lets:
The obc stated '20 miles' not 30. I was not implying that I put fuel in the car! If you read again what I said in my earlier post, I was not saying that while I was there I had to fill it myself. I was saying that I could have understood why you were running it so low if had been there to do a deal and take the car there and then, therefore forcing me into filling it up when I left. When you look at the overall picture of what I was faced with (a car that needed thousands spending on it) I think most people would say that the low fuel was par for the course.
I NEVER EVER made you an offer on the car! I had a long talk with you on the phone about what money needed spending on the car and I also told you about the research I had done and was happy to share that info with you (some of which you did not even know yourself). I then said 'lets NOT talk about figures now, have a sleep on it and I will speak to you on the phone after 1430hrs the next day' That conversation never took place because you sent me a txt at 1256hrs the next day saying 'i'm not gonna sell the car for less than 11k as it's worth that to me and as I said would rather keep it than sell it for less'. That ultimately is down to you to make that call, but is not (in my experience) the truth from some who is actively trying to sell their car.
If you are trying to sell it...... to me that means you want it gone..... not that you are testing the water and that if you get the right money you 'might let it go'. I was a serious buyer with the cash ready to make all your trouble go away. You know very well what the car is really worth (if you want to get it gone) because you have by your own admission been through the mill of getting prices and valuations. I would have purchased the car for a price that would have meant that once I had returned it to good condition it would not have owed me so much money that I would have had to take a massive loss.
You had had very little 'serious' interest in the car, and there I was trying to be serious about buying a car that only appeals to a very very limited market (let alone when its yellow) I understand that you may think that I was trying to 'steal' your car from you but that is the privilege of the person holding the money, plus I'm not in the habit of paying over the odds for a car thats not quite right.
I accept what you say about the fact that the car did not originally come with the full up satnav, that was me reading between the lines. If you look at it from my point of view it all added up as a money saving/making exercise by someone who no longer wanted to spend anymore money on a car they were in the process of trying to escape from.
When you own a vehicle of that type (and I have been in your position many times) you just can't ignore a proper buyer, they are few and far between. You never even got the point of seeing what I was willing to pay.
Perhaps I've got it all wrong and you do really want to keep the car? But in my experience people are usually very keen to get the car sold and are willing to talk to the prospective buyer until a price is agreed on or comunications break down due to the gap in figures being too large.
You only need to look at some of the posts on here to see what I mean. There are 2 guys trying to sell RS2's one of which I think started at £15000 and now is up at £12250. He clearly wants to sell his car.
I did not set out to upset you as you were clearly not a member on here at the time. It was done to get feedback from those who know these cars and for them to tell me I was right or wrong about my feelings.
