Springs Only

Post by ShaneyB » Mon Nov 17, 2008 3:31 pm

Hi All,
Would anyone recommend / not recommend putting springs only on my B6 S4 to stiffen up slightly and lower?

Struggling for cash at the mo..:-(

Not ideal.
The original dampers will not control the stronger deflections from the uprated spring.

I have a set of H&R lowering springs specifically for the B6 S4 I bought from Awesome GTI which I would let go for £50 since I have no need for them now. Unused and in their box.

I have seen S4's with these on and the drop is not as severe as others and the effect on compression rebound similalrly is not as severesoa good compromise between making your current suspension lower without affecting the handling too much and having to fork out for KW3 coilovers
