Hi all,
Newbie to the B6 forum, just p/x'd my old B5 Avant.

Trying to load my Nav Disc for the UK and it's taking ages to do anything, particularly when I get to adding an address. Ultimately it says ' Disc Unreadable'
Anyone experienced this? Any ideas?

Early S4's came with sat nav plus hwich used a cCD-ROM. Later models came with RNS-E which use DVD. What system do you have and what disc are you trying to insert?

I have got the RNS D and its pretty w@nk. The disc is miles out of date. Anyone have any Audi map discs they want to get rid of?

I have RNS-D too, and didn't think much of it (due to the similar reasons as jamess4cab i.e. disc was well out of date (disc provided with car when new, so 2000 or 2001).

However, since acquiring a 2006-2007 map disc with TMC enabled... much better unit!

Are you using a genuine Audi CD, or third-party/copy?

Copies won't work unless copied in a specific way...
