Hi guys,
I have posted something similar in the B5 RS4 forum as I am undecided about what to go for.
Any thoughts on this advert from PH?

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/405473.htm

Also any reasons for me to go with S4 over B5 RS4?
Mileage and age are two -any others?
many thanks

Red mirrors? A bit of an individual thing maybe but I'd want the silver ones worth a few quid off maybe?

Too cheap and doesn't look right, could it be an S4 lookalike or an S line? it's doesn't have the bling mirrors od window strip.

I agree that its very cheap, but as for not looking right?

Looks exactly the same as my one except for the mirrors which I don't think are everyones taste (I love them), check out the gallery.

Same price as mine now http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/561654.htm

I know Goodwood isn't to everyone liking, but still.... The markets on its arse for 2nd hand big engined cars atm.

As above, big engined stuff is very hard work at the moment. Also this may get hit by the new car road tax rules.

In the trade you would struggle to get any bids at the moment.

PS I do like your green one.....

It's been up for sale for a while. I passed when it was at about £13.5K because of the mirrors and, specifically, despite having leather had no heated seats. Not sure if that has any implications about how real it is but it made a simple decision at the time.

You could always ask for the reg/VIN and get it checked out with your friendly stealer. I got the full order print out for the car that I did end up buying. Knew it had more things on than the seller knew and discovered that the RNS-E was a retro fit. Mind you I should have known that because there was no roof aerial... live & learn.
