I realise the backbox is larger so will need some fettling to make fit, but will fitting the cat back part of the RS4 exhaust make my S4 sound like an RS4?Or do the Cats and manifold play a large part in the difference in exhaust note between the two cars?

The back boxes will make an aural difference. For max effect the whole lot needs replacing.
