Insurance for a modded S4

Post by StevoS4 » Tue Apr 01, 2008 5:09 pm

Hi guys im looking into getting a APS Stage 3 ecu re-map and milltek exhaust fitted but i am struggling getting a reasonable insurance quote.

Anyone have any companies that may give a better quote than i have been getting, my premium has been quoted going up over 1300 notes to £1986 :(

I am currently with Noel Dazely have been for two years. When it came to renewal time they included a custom sports exhaust and a remap for no additional cost.

Also try A-Plan at Thatcham (01635 874646) - I was quoted less than £600 for my modded B5 RS4.
Golf R - with added MRC

Ultimate Silver Nissan GT-R - Sold

Greenlight also give track day cover at £50 per day if you were tempted to take your pride and joy for a proper blast.

Adrian Flux were cheaper than Noel Dazely for me, and it's always worth playing them off against each other. ;-)

Try Admiral...

They were cheapest round by far for me (£600 rather than £1K+), just gone from a B5 S4 to a B7 S4 with AMD stage 3 and its £60 extra for the remaining 3 months on the policy.
