Nurburgring + F1 track

Post by Spoof » Tue Mar 25, 2008 2:04 am

Only had the car 2 days, but it gave me enough time to sort the brakes before I left.
All I can say is the car is awesome as a complete package, it does everything very well. Comfortable on a long cruise, yet can be thrashed round a track with minimal drama and LOADS of grip.
I was amazed how little understeer there was, my old man was so impressed, he's off to look at a new S6 Avant this week.

To top it all off, in a freak snow storm on Saturday, 15 or so cars got let out on the track before they could shut the barriers myself included with a Skyline and a Scooby for company, both got stuck on a steep icy section along with the other 2wd vehicles.... only myself and another Quattro both on summer tyres made the whole lap. Everyone else was turned around and ended up driving the ring backwards.
Gave me a good chance to take some sneaky photos though.

Small Video on the F1 track, not going too quickly as I was cooling the brakes.
