Hi,
Picking up my Goodwood Green S4 (auto) next wednesday and just have a couple of questions. (pictures to follow once detailed)
I am going to the Nurburgring at Easter and would normally take my TVR Cerbera but because of the number of people who want lifts now, I'm taking the S4.
How will the brakes fare? I'm assuming not great so I have been looking at short term solutions, and from a morning of searching it seems the 'best' most available pad is the EBC yellow stuff, I've never used these as I normally go for Ferodo DS2500's so any comments from people who've tried these would be much appreciated. - or a supplier of the DS2500 in the UK.
The fluid I use is ATE Superblue, anything I need to pay attention too when bleeding the brakes? with engine running I presume?
I noticed whilst inspecting the car earlier this week that the exhaust has an actuator and valve at the end of each back box, from reading posts on this, I was led to believe the Auto didn't have this by-pass system. - Will it be ok disconnecting the air hose on an Auto?
And last but not least, what oil should I be topping up with, will Castrol Edge 5-30 be ok?
