A new fan!

Hi all, Just joined in the fun on here as I picked up my S4 Avant this morning in Aberdeen and have spent the whole day listening to the Miltek exhaust and loving the Stage 3 AMD effect on my journey back down south. What a car, practical, tractable, comfortable and great fun.

It's an 04, 45,000 miles, Moro Blue Pearl, with Silver leather and RS6 wheels - I'm certain it was the right choice as it's subtle, but very effective. :D

Did you drive a standard one before buying this one? If so, whats the difference in performance?

I didn't bother with the standard one as I've got mates who've had the old twin turbo RS4's and felt 385 bhp would be a much better place to start!
After 3 whole days of burning through Shell and BP's finest at a wholly un PC rate I'm even more impressed than I was initially - the noise is just completely addictive and the tractable V8 makes really rapid progress so easy.

I'll get some pics at the weekend and stick them up.

That looks smart mate. Not seen one with RS6 wheels before but they look good!

Nice. Still my favourite "other than standard" for the B6. If they're OEMs you won't have the same problem I had with the reps buckling after a few thousand miles!

Your a bit bloody lucky with that plate. Question is, did you see the car or the plate first???
