new S4 or used RS4?

Post by CUbuff » Wed Feb 20, 2008 1:36 am

One dealership near me has a new B7 S4 for around 52,000 USD while another dealer has an '07 B7 RS4 for 59,000. What do you guys think about the longterm benefits/drawbacks for each? I've driven both and I'm kinda drawn to the manual in the RS (S has tip)... Oh yeah, never owned an Audi before and love the site so far...

Hi mate

The B7 RS4 forun has an average MPG topic at the moment and they seem to be getting what i'm getting in my 53 s4. If you can afford to go for the RS4 i would jump at the chance. Not sure what the difference in insurance would be where you are though?
Think i would prefer the manual box aswell.

Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Welcome

I've got a B6 S4 and a B7 RS4 - the economy is identical, but the whole driving "experience" is worlds apart. I'd go RS if you can...
