Buying an S4 cabriolet

Post by bishop » Sat Feb 09, 2008 11:04 pm

I am going to look at an 05 s4 cabriolet on Tuesday, it has 38k mls, full history etc. The car is black with black leather and alcantara trim, it has an auto box, satnav, bose and looks mint. What should i be looking out for? It hasnt got cruise or parking aids but these seem cheap to retro fit? Is the alcantara going to be an issue with resale?
Any advice appreciated.

Hi mate

When i went to look at my avant last year i went with an open mind. Not really heard of many problems with the cars. I don't think that the alacantara would make the re-sale harded, mines got it and your going to look at one with it.
Best thing to do is look around the car before you start it up cause as soon as you here the engine the money will be out!!

previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!
