I've just had a quote from Audi warranty to extend my cover for another year. It's a 2004/ 04 so it's year 4 to 5. Includes everything the new warranty does, including european breakdown (which I need) £1240.

What do you think?

Personally wouldn't bother - just had first major mechanical traumas at around 130k (dual mass flywheel & wheel bearing), both could well be argued by a warranty company to be wear & tear

Forget Audi tooo expensive. If you are serious about a warranty try warranty direct. They are fairly comprehensive and all work has to be carried out by an Audi dealership, not necessarly a good thing mind.

They want £919.94 (done at Audi dealer) and thats without breakdown or european breakdown cover. So if I add on £100 for RAC then £100 for each trip across europe (2 or 3 a year) then the Audi one doesn't seem that bad.

I see your point. I only suggested them because when I bought mine it came with 3yrs warranty, 1yr Audi and 2yrs courtesy of warranty direct so I just assumed they were cheaper than Audi.

Lets hope your right, I've decided not to bother. I'll just join the RAC again and pay for european cover as I need it.
