Hi folks,

Been absent from these forums after my move to Oz, but as you guys have such vast knowledge, I'm back to pester for some info please!!!!

So, I have a May 2003 B6 S4 which is due for the above service... well sort of. I'm on variable, but thats where I am now :D

So, the question is, what should I expect to be replacing for this service? I'm expecting all the standard stuff like oil, oil filter, coolant, brake fluid etc, but does anybody know for definite please?

Also, a question about timing.... This model is fitted with the set of chains right and these never need replacing unless they develop a fault?

Ta
Dan

I asked the dealer about the chains and the replie I got was 5 year or 80,000 miles which ever comes first. It's not just the timing chain the S4 has a cam chain as well I think. It is quite an expensive job as all the pully's and tightners have to be changed as well, might be an idea to get the water pump done at the same time as they seem to go at about that sort of time common fault I'm told!!
