Just joined the club: S4 cab in sprint blue

Post by wookie-taff1 » Sun Apr 08, 2007 10:11 am

Happy Easter everyone. You can see I'm mildly excited about picking up my S4 Cab (04) yesterday as I write to you on Easter morning. Not healthy probably.

Been looking through this site and see a wealth of info but have a couple of questions to test your expertise . I bought car privately by the way.

The car has Nav plus system but its locked on to the dealers location which did some work on it last week. Can't get it to reflect where the car actually is! Any advice would be great.

The car seems noisey, not the exhaust but road noise. Having read comments about conti 2 tyres I think it could be those. Do they make that much noise?

Cheers gents

Welcome wookie,

I have no idea about the answers to your questions as I don't have an S4 but I'm sure someone will be along with some wisdom soon.

Yes, welcome wookie,

I to have the misfortune of havin Contis on my S4 and suffer the same road noise. :(
With my previous two Audis I had experience with Toyos, Michelin and Good Years, of which Good Years were the quitest !
Sorry can't help with the Sat Nav.

Not Angry :D

Thanks Gents. Beginning to think no one was out there.

Noise has turned out to be rear bearings, so the dealer has told me today anyway. Sat Nav is more complex.......so I won't bore you all.
