Best/worst colours for B6 S4 Avant

Hi - I'm considering a 2003/04 B6 S4 Avant as my next car. I'm seeking advice on the colours available. Which are the most and least sought-after and which are exclusive to the S4 etc.

So far, it looks like I have a choice of:

Brilliant Red
Ebony Black
Aluminium Silver
Dolphin Grey
Moro Blue
Nogaro Blue

Looks like most interiors are silver or black full leather.

Any comments on the best combinations much appreciated

You can't really go wrong with any of those colours listed on an S4, all depends how bold you want to be - Nogaro & red are probably the most eye-catching (& I think are exclusive to the S4, is red though?) but if you're buying because of it's "sleeper" subtlety then plump for a darker colour. Haven't seen many grey S4s at all, can look great (especially summer evenings) but only if kept sparkling, Moro with cream leather's a nice combo, & then you've got the obvious & popular silver with black or silver leather, black with black or silver combos

Personaly i love Noggy blue, not just because its the colour i have, i have always liked the colour you can also find noggy blue with Black leather and Noggy Blue Alacantara seats - looks very nice

Avoid Imola Yellow - resale sucks.

Dont think you can go wrong with the "normal" type colours.

Best? Nogaro Blue - the 2003 S4 Avant I had was Nogaro Blue and looked absolutely stunning.

Worst? Imola Yellow - no if's, but's or maybe's it's just such a naff colour!

I like the understated silver (Avus Silver), because its so,,,,, errrrr, understated. Minimises unwanted attention. I also think the grey's look good

(IMHO) worst has too be Imola yellow.

IMHO Aluminium Silver is the best colour for the B6 S4 - there's just something 'Teutonic' about it and I think it really suits the lines of the car. Ebony Pearl/Brilliant Black and Nogaro Blue are a very close second for me though, and I also think they look great in Dolphin Grey and Brilliant Red.

The B6 A4 quattro Sport I had before the S4 was also silver, and when I started looking at S4s I thought I perhaps fancied a change and had pretty much decided on a black one, but then when I saw the car I ended up buying it was love.

I would have to agree with the comments regarding Imola Yellow - not a fan. It kind of works on the B5 but not the B6 IMO.
