The S4 Cab was never a big seller. When it came out in B6 guise (May 04), dealers were all sent them unordered so with customer cars out and about, there are loads of B6's for sale and residuals are low. As for the B7, its only been around for five months or so and dealers are still trying to get silly £ for demo cars. However, they are not selling and one year old B6 S4 Cabs retail at about £33-34k. Personally, I would expect to see cheap B7's S4's in four months or so when dealers realise that punters will not pay £44k for an 06 plate demo car no matter how good the specs are. I personally would not buy a B7 S4 Cab above £36/37k given that you can get £4k off a new car built to your exact spec (sorry long answer).
Maserati GranTurismo GTS Auto, S3 Sportback, TT2 3.2 Roadster, Disco3 for the heavy stuff.
