Hi,

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I got what I thought was a pretty good deal on 4 new Goodyears (GSD3's I think they're called) from Elite Direct (they are in Rainham - www.elitedirect.com) this weekend, £493.26 including fitting etc.

So far they seem pretty good - quieter than the original's. I also have to thank my friend Neil for giving me a demo of how progressively the S4 'lets go' when circling roundabouts with the ESP turned off and the roads are damp...

I know I wouldn't have caught it.

Cheers Mark

That sounds really cheap to me - what size are they?

Shinydave,

I didn't realise you could get your tires filled with nitrogen, do you know if anyone other than National Tyres does that?

Thanks,

Mark

apparantly because the nitrogen molecules are larger than air molecules they hold the pressure more consistantly, less leakage. don' know what i'm supposed to do when the time comes to top them up though. i don't know if anyone else does it but it's something they've been offering at national for at least 12 months
