I heard a rumour a while ago that it is possible for a dealer to replace the boot struts with a stronger version.
Why? When using the button on the remote fob to open the boot, it becomes a 1-touch operation. At the moment, the boot opens and stays "down", but with stronger struts, it would open and lift up as well. Very handy if you've got arms full of shopping, or are gripping a pair of dog leads...
Anyone know if it is possible? Anyone know the part numbers to cost up? Is it something I could fit for myself?
