Tyre pressures for the S4?

Any thoughts on the best levels?
also would 255/35/18's fit the S4?

Hi Gareth
I'm sure you've looked on the inside of your filler cap flap for the spec. pressures.
I tend to run mine at 40/40 for general road use, although there does seem to be a lot of road noise. This, I think, is due to the Continental factory fitted tyres being noisier than most other brands.....IMO of course.

I sure did look there but I feel that 40/40 is just not right really. I'm going experiment with 36/38 to see how that works... [img]images/graemlins/033102bigblink_1_prv.gif[/img]

Tried it....didn't like it, became 'sloppy' when cornering rapidly...but that could be my particular driving style and inconsistent Cornish road surfaces...

Went with 38 all round and seems ok to me.
Suspect I might have a slow puncture in one tyre though [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Will need to get it checked out pronto.
