Got a liitle "tweet" when I drive over bumps and rough road. Can only hear it when I have the window down. anyone had this before? I'm thinking it's maybe a seal in the shock?

Sounds like the brake pad rattling in the retainer. I get this. It's irritating.

Interesting you should say this. My pads are worn. Cars getting new front discs n pads fitted on Thursday. Lets see what happens. I would be very happy if new brake parts fix this. Let you know.

According to my garage there's plenty of wear left, it's just the design that leaves them sitting slightly loose when the brakes aren't applied. I've not changed the pads since I bought the car so it might fix it.

That's soo cool - your car using social media to let you know something is going to cost a packet ;)

Good stuff. Did you get the same pads again or something different?

It had standard set up on it. I went for Black Diamond grooved discs with Predator pads. I had them on a Honda years ago and they were brilliant. So checked them out and they've just released for the B7 S4. Got them from Demontweeks along with braided lines. They are feeling very good now I have to say but have yet to test them properly on a fast run.
