Dead battery

Post by geecom » Mon Feb 11, 2013 5:30 pm

It looks like my battery has a dead cell, and so needs replacing. My local Audi garage have quoted nearly £200 to replace, which seems rather high.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to where to get a replacement battery fitted. Also, does anyone know what type / size battery is required, or any suggestions as to best make / model to have fitted.

Many thanks in advance.

TPS. A decent Exide brand battery, matching the OE Audi battery spec was £92.

Fitting is an easy DIY
