Over 31mpg on an hours drive:

I always get over 30 on regular trips from Cov to Bedford.

The other day myself and an RS4 had a play for around 30 miles of this journey, i.e. no cruise control or taking it steady, and my average for the journey was 26mpg.

I regularly get 300 miles to a tank, and have checked the accuracy of the DIS and it's just about bang on.

Also, 70 in 6th for me is at approx 2600 rpm.

I think the combination of cruise control, free flow of filter and Milltek and rolling road remap help me get these figures as I certainly don't drive like a granny....

Not quite up to Sulli' s standard :notworthy: , but road works on M1 & M25 combined with a tall 6th gear in the Tiptronic gave me 30.1MPG and a total "range" of 453 miles :jump_clap:

 LOL, I realised that after I posted the photos to photobucket. If it's in PARK, it won't display the DIS, just tells you to put foot on brake before selecting gear :bash:

Almost managed over 26MPG the other day, heading over to Fleet for a meet. That soon dipped though, spotted a hottie in white E500 playing in the traffic on the M3. Had to oblige. Got it down to 21 after that. Think that's the most I've seen. Doesn't matter. Round town it'll normally only do 14MPG. Really should try not to WOT 1st>2nd EVERY time I move...

No engine mods of any kind, manual.

I quite often get over 30 mpg, about 31.2 on long runs.. From sandbach to north Wales I get 30 and when I went to Leeds I got 31, although it did dip to 13 when i wanted to hear to engine... Mines an auto with cruise which seems to help

averaged 21mpg over the weekend, which was about 300 miles to the mountains and up them and back, with mixed driving, some quite spirited. I think that's pretty good going!
