Yes you can, and that price is about right. I decided not to go for it, putting my trust in Audi reliability & my experiences of S4 ownership thus far (had a B5 for 150k miles & nothing major went). Fingers crossed!
If you do decide to warranty the car, might be worth a call to your supplying dealer. Mine's price was far lower than the warranty company direct.

PS would be very interested to hear your thoughts on the stage 3 conversion, looks like you owned the car standard for a while - did the AMD work make a noteable difference? Much performance gap between yours & the RS4?

I would always have the most comprehensive warranty you can get, I agree that all my previous Audi's have been generally very reliable but when things do go 'pear shaped’, repair bills get very big very quickly.
Over the years I must have spent £6k on warranties, but have had over £9K+ of warranty work undertaken.
