And for the yellowtuff pads I looked up the correct part number on the ebc website then searched that number on ebay and got the pads a lot cheaper than retail too.

Hmmmm Audi have quoted that much for a pair of fronts (supply only), thought that wasn't a bad price tbh for Audi bits....

If it helps I've only done about 10 miles and they are biting a lot better than expected already.

interesting you went with the grooves/slots facing forwards!

ive had this ongoing debate with my mech, as he fitted mine like that and i made him turn them round so as the slots/grooves point in the rotation direction of the wheel.

am pretty sure these nothing in it performance-wise.. but i just prefer the look!!

I was waiting for someone to notice that. Yes they should be the other way round. Didnt realise until I had fitted them all.

I'm not sure who's right and who's wrong if i'm honest.. he argued that the grooves should be cutting into the brake pad surface to always give the best friction (and he races, sets-up and supports racecars/britcars), and i argued that you want the grooves facing rotationally outwards so that they distribute brake pad dust/air/water etc off the braking surface

anyhoo - im the customer and im the one who will look at them every day, therefore we swapped them over :biggrin3:

Yip saw that last night, I looked for my version 2006 S4 Avant and it gave me this choice only..
