I managed to find a UK importer at WOT Motorsport (who also supplied my 034 engine mounts) so booked it in with my garage. It turned out my rear dampers were done so they needed replacing too (OEM).
It was also time to finally fit the B5 perches I bought months ago.
There was also a coolant leak so I took the opportunity (since they'd be pulling bits and pieces out of the engine bay to find the leak) to replace the starter motor to fix the occasional cold non-start we've all experienced.
I ended up with a large bill on top of the cost of the control arm kit but it was worth it to fix a few issues and freshen things up. The handling is noticeably better, feeling more solid and controlled. The B5 perches not only drop the front wheels in to the arches nicely but have lowered the car noticeably - to the point I've caught the front splitter a few times on curbs, ramps, etc.
