Question on grinding noise

Post by Amosu » Thu Feb 17, 2005 12:02 pm

Just curious if anyone else has this on their B6 S4?

If I pull away with full left or right lock on my car (doesn't matter how hard I push) I get a low rumbling from the front of the car until I straighten up. I'm wondering if the wheels are running the inside of the arches or whether this is normal behaviour? Anyone else have this?

Normal I expect. The B5 cars do it too. The tyres scrub because of the difference in wheel speed front to rear.
