Hello all. More questions.
How many miles are you getting out your front and rear tyres please? Trying to gauge how much life I have left in the tyres I have on, as I'm due to go to Le Mans in June.
My driving style is I use the preformance available from the car in accelerating and cornering. I'm not a sedate driver all of the time, but do about 30 miles motorway every day.

Re: Tyre Life
Hi,
I'm off to Le Mans too, taking the S4 for it's second trip there.
I get about 20K on a set. I'm running Sessanta Ultracs at the mo'. A little soft around the corners, but they grip and wear very well.
Remember to swap fronts to back, halfway through the wear, as the fronts wear quicker, 'cause of the heavy V8 up front and the slight understeer.
Regards, Chris.

Re: Tyre Life
Thanks Chris. I never thought of those. Keep an eye on here for my pic of the car before we head to Le Man, as I'll have it all stickered up. We're staying in the campsite on the Porsche Curves. Where are you going to be? I'm very excited about my first trip there. Can't wait.
Myself and my mate are leaving on the Wednesday at 6AM from Glasgow and heading straight to Paris for a wee night out, then we'll arrive in Le Man on Thursday afternoon. Hopefully to catch some qualifying.

Nice one - can't wait to see the car in it's livery.
It's great fun and, of course, the blazing sun helps! We normally go in to Le Man itself for a night and the surrounding villages are good for a laugh.
There's plenty to do at the race track, of course and you get some characters in the campsites.
There's 5 of in the blue campsite this year - It's about 50 metres outside the track.
I'll be there from the 11th to the 16th June. By the 16th I'll have run out of juice
