Brake Problem

Post by Atom2010 » Tue Aug 23, 2011 8:22 pm

My brakes feel a bit spongy lately - the disc and pads where done not too long ago and my master cylinder was replaced just before xmas last year along with the clutch, when I'm driving sometimes the brakes go right to the floor but if i let the pedal out and press it again its solid and feels like it should be, also on occasion when I'm driving around 70/80 ish i get a vibration that seems to come from the front passenger side but then goes away but when that happens and i apply the brakes the vibration is worse and sounds like the brakes are grinding, sometimes when i break the car vears to the left a little.

Could this be the calliper or would a simple bleed sort this ?

Cheers

Could be allsorts. Best of getting it on a ramp and having a good look around. I'm wondering if you've got a binding caliper and you fluid is over heating.
