Help with knocking from rear of quattro A4

Hi just looking for some help and advice please, my friend has a B7 A4 2.0 turbo quattro and there is a knocking / thudding sound coming from the rear of the car under load going uphill mostly and sometimes on the flat, seems to do it more after the car has been warmed up a bit and when been turning on full lock etc, any ideas what the banging could be??

Rear diff mount
Exhaust
ARB end links
ARB bushes

Best getting it up in a ramp and having a poke around

yup - what xyber said ^^^^

mine used to do this and turned out to be my miltek banging around

anyhoo, rear end knocking is a good excuse to get one of these
